Hey people,
long time no erm.... type.

Anyway just a quick post to let everybody know about what I'm up to atm.

Got 2 big exhibitions lined up for summer one in manchester at the Cube Gallery(9 June - 13th June)

We're also in the midst of fundraising for said exhibitions so be sure to check out our print auction <a href="fy1.org.uk/printauction.html>here , loads of donated professional signed prints going dirt cheap at the moment, Lottie Davis (this years winner of the national portrait gallery's portrait prize) for £30..... crazy!!

Everyone involved in the exhibition is also selling signed prints of their work here.....

Right Im back from Paris, did I even mention i was going?? lol
Anyway should have some Paris stuff up soon, have to wait to dev my films though cos im utterly skint now

So many good exhibitions! Saw the Richard Avedon Retrospective at Jeu De Palmes which was awesome, and saw aload of decent stuff at the Pompadou centre like Phillp Lorca DiCorcia's Street stuff, Man Ray's Photograms, Sorano's 'Piss Christ' and tons of cool painters by Jackson Pollock, Kandinsky, Francis Bacon, Matisse etc, well worth checking out if anyones around Paris. Decided to give Lourve a miss cos it was too busy and expensive!

Should be a couple of reviews about it on my blog (georgepowell.wordpress.com/) in the next few days when Ive caught up with my sleep!!!

Right quick update of what I've been up to

Music: played an open mic night last night which i think is going out as a podcast, ill link to it when its released, i was pretty shit though because i was a bit rough from the night before!!! Oh and I might have a cheap Solfest ticket if anyones interested

Travel: Im going to Paris on the 20th for til 24th!! Bday in gaye Pari!!!

Photos: Got a few bits and bobs to submit soon, finally!!

Just found out that my photo blogs been listed the 75th most popular up and coming blogs in the 'blog of the day' at wordpress.com (if that makes sense)
